Newell, West Virginia --- Ergon-West Virginia, Inc. announced the startup of its new diesel hydrotreating and hydrodewaxing unit, (DHT). This unit produces the new Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) in compliance with EPA standards requiring diesel produced by refineries for on-road use must contain less than 15 parts per million of sulfur. The new ULSD product will be required by diesel engines beginning with the 2007 model year.
