Electronics Technology and Computing Solutions – Since entering the industrial computer product market over 35 years ago as a pioneer in passive backplane computers, Diversified Technology, Inc., (“DTI”), has truly “diversified” over the last few years while investigating options for the right niche. Certified as an ISO 9001 research, development, design, and manufacturing facility and a recognized front-runner in industry advancements, DTI has been expanding into more diverse markets.

When DTI entered the industrial computer product market, it was an emerging marketplace. Since then, DTI has been through evolutions and revolutions in the embedded computing industry. DTI has historically designed and manufactured leading edge processor boards, fabric switching products, and embedded systems for modular computing. Working with clients to incorporate specific-use features into out-of-the-box platforms, DTI’s systems have been utilized by the communication industry in telecommunication and media gateways, VoIP servers, and wireline/wireless networks. The military utilizes DTI for ruggedized computing and mobile solutions.

DTI also handles factory automation, as well as transportation and medical applications for industrial clients. A pioneer in passive backplane systems, DTI provides building blocks based upon the latest processors. In addition to computing products, DTI has become a driver of technology by leveraging strategic partnerships with research and development oriented universities to commercialize new products in power management and radio frequency (RF) antenna applications.

Today, DTI is concentrating on three markets; Government/Military, Communications and Commercial, in four primary business segments: Federal Programs, Power Electronics, Custom Designed Electronic Board & Systems and Embedded Computing.

Federal Programs – Primary projects include On-Board Vehicle Power (“OBVP”) and Simultaneous Field Radiation Technology (“SFRT”).  Through SFRT efforts, DTI has developed the only known smart composite wide band antenna that covers extensive military bandwidths.  The SFRT antennas are receiving broad acclaim in land and water based applications.

Power Electronics – DTI pursues opportunities in alternate energy related markets such as wind power.  

Custom Designed Electronic Board & Systems – DTI continues its focus on traditional customer and commercial off-the-shelf opportunities for its boards and systems.

Embedded Computing – Standards for the Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture and MicroTCA are the emerging open platforms for telecommunications equipment and other networking applications.
